RFA came up with the design for this exhibition of iconic products from British consumer society over the 20th century. It is told using an archive of packaging and advertising collected by author and broadcaster Robert Opie. RFA’s design includes an Edwardian grocer’s shop, a Forties Blitz kitchen, a Fifties coffee bar and a Sixties boutique, as well as an interactive Triggers of Memory area, exploring individual and group memory.
