The consultancy’s London studio provided creative input, while its Shanghai office delivered the concept. Dalziel & Pow was appointed earlier this year based on credentials and ongoing conversations with Jackwalk.
The consultancy was briefed to create an interior that was ’international’, ’premium’ and ’fashionable’. The brief was developed by conducting research on local retail competition, and by assisting local contractors in building the prototype store. The project did not include branding or graphic communications.
The first store will open at the end of September, and the design will later be rolled out to Shanghai’s satellite towns.
