DBA subsumes Design Events

Design Business Association chief executive Deborah Dawton confirms that Design Events, the company she founded in 1994, will cease to trade from July.

‘I am now full time at the DBA and this is the cleanest way to make the transition. There are also potential areas of conflict [between the DBA and Design Events],’ says Dawton.

The DBA is looking at ways of incorporating Design Events’ two remaining staff members and activities, she adds.
