Peter Saville and artist Sam Taylor-Wood are the judges of this year’s Beck’s Futures Student Prize for Film and Video. Work on the shortlist includes narrative, fashion, animation and documentary material. It will be displayed from 25-28 April at the Institute of Contemporary Arts in London, with the winners announced on 29 April. The shortlisted artists are David Blandy, Jemina Burrill, Herman Crona, Lisa Extra, Frederico Fazenda, Xiaolu Guo, Richard Holgate, Pil & Galia Kollectiv, Emily Larlham Niall Macdonald, Matthew Murdoch, Noriko Okaku, Ah Bin Shim and Hyun-Jung Yun.
Aero, which will launch in 2019, is intended to be used alongside existing programs like Photoshop and Dimension, to help designers visualise virtual graphics and products in real-world environments.
The app works across mobile, tablet and desktop and is intended for those who are video-editing beginners but want to create “professional” content for social media.
