Another free-pitch from Government department

THE Department for Education and Employment, last week revealed as running a free creative pitch for its identity (DW 18 August), ran another free-pitch for a training campaign.

The free-pitch was won by Sheffield consultancy Iris Associates. The project was the design of literature (pictured) and an identity for a national training initiative called Skills Challenge. The project included the design of a prospectus, leaflets and posters.

Meanwhile, Bamber Forsyth has won a free creative pitch to design the annual report for Direct Line Insurance. A consultancy spokeswoman says some visuals were included in the pitch. The consultancy has also been appointed to design a new corporate brochure for the insurance company’s parent, Direct Line Group. The group also includes Direct Line Financial Services and Direct Line Life.
