Gas meter manufacturer UGI, which supplies British Gas and foreign clients, is introducing an identity created by London design consulants Circle Design.
The new identity marks the start of a new phase in UGI’s history, with the company looking to expand further into international markets, including China and Russia.
Owned by Hanson, UGI is attempting to put itself on a par with other world-class gas companies. Circle’s work also includes a type-led print advertising system and extends to literature and even to customised UGI cheques.
“It’s all about creating a strong UGI brand style,” according to Circle Design partner Charles Longbottom.
The new identity system is also scheduled to be implemented within UGI’s growing number of joint ventures abroad.
