Lambie-Nairn has designed a new branding system for Norwegian commercial TV channel TvNorge.

The series of six on-screen identity sequences “convey a range of moods” and provide “a distinctive and adaptable musical signature and an entertaining and adaptable new graphic language”, says a consultancy spokesman.

TvNorge’s innovative history, as Norway’s first commercial channel, has been used as a basis of the brief for Lambie-Nairn.

The resulting six sequences use the national colours of red, white

and blue as a consistent theme.

Group chairman and creative director Martin Lambie-Nairn says: “Our objective was to create a look that could attract younger viewers while remaining relevant to the existing older audience.

The identity is capable of surprise without being intimidating.”
