Gary Thomason has won the ICA’s competition to design a lectern. The competition was a tribute to the late Linda Brandon, the ICA’s former talks director. Thomason will see his cast aluminium and bronze design built in time for the Linda Brandon Memorial Talk next summer. ‘The winning design was chosen unanimously, displaying as it did careful attention to the design brief, originality of approach and ingenious solutions to design demands,’ says the ICA.
