Sorrell has a nose to pick with TV crews

Media training should be obligatory for any chief executive braving the shark-infested waters of TV. Sir Martin Sorrell, head honcho at WPP Group, may have blown his chances of a career in front of the camera when, on Monday, he appeared on Bloomberg TV.

The recently-knighted business guru was seen picking his nose and scratching his neck while responding to questions. Disconcerted by the journalists’ odd stares, he asked them: ‘I’m not on air, am I?’
