Paris design group Beef has taken inspiration from the classic British milk bottle in creating packaging for a new range of haircare products for L’OrÃ©al Professionel. Beef consists of three designers – Simon Clark, Adrien Haas and SÃ©bastien Dragon – trained by Philippe Starck. The milk bottle was used as a starting point for the Serie Expert range because of its, ‘Natural, beautiful fluid curves give a tactile side to the range’, says Haas. The 16-strong range will only be sold by hairdressers.
Designed by Siemens Mobility, the Inspiro boasts in-train air conditioning and will consume 20% less energy than the existing fleet from the 1970s.
