I am writing with reference to the new BP logo, designed by Landor Associates (DW 28 July).
Is the new trend in logo and corporate design a competition to totally destroy a company’s identity with so called “fashionable” crap, and rub your hands while accepting ridiculous fees for doing it?
It can’t be to do with the integrity of the client or its history or anything to do with the craft. It can only be to do with marketing and money.
How incredibly sad!
