Portland picks Allen for board position

Portland Design has promoted Lewis Allen to director of environments and given him a position on the consultancy’s board.

Allen (pictured) joined the group from HOK in June (DW 15 June). At the same time, senior designer Michael Fern is being promoted to the role of creative head of environments. The changes come as Portland Design adopts a cross-disciplinary approach to projects, says Allen.
