Third Eye sets its sights on the capital

Scottish consultancy Third Eye Design has acquired London fashion art direction outfit George & Vera, under plans to open its first office in the city.

George & Vera founder James Groves will become creative director of the London office, which opens its doors in Hoxton at the beginning of October. The two groups will pool their clients, with George & Vera bringing its fashion portfolio – including River Island, Diesel and Oliver Spencer – into the combined business.

‘London is a very strong market, with lots of good consultancies, and we didn’t want to launch as the new guys. The tie-up with George & Vera avoids this and gives us a stronger start,’ says Third Eye Design group managing director Mark Noë.

The office will launch with three members of staff, building to about ten, adds Noë.
