Science association turns Indigo

London design consultancy Indigo has been commissioned to rebrand the British Association for the Advancement of Science following an unpaid creative pitch against three unnamed groups.

The organisation hosts a series of exhibitions and educational events during the year, including events for National Science Week, which is held in March.

Indigo business development director Ian Raba says: “We will be creating a new identity and rolling it out in late March on stationery, promotional literature and exhibition panels. We’ll be looking at the organisation’s website in the future.”

Meanwhile, Indigo has won several other appointments including projects to redesign identities for Internet service provider NetCom Intel and corporate telecommunications company International Telecomm Group.

The consultancy also won a three-way pitch to develop a strategic cultural document for the forthcoming Mayor of London and Greater London Authority. “The publication is a ten-point proposal for the ongoing development of the capital as a major cultural centre,” explains Raba.
