Southampton Habitat store

Habitat is to build a £1m-plus new store in Southampton’s West Quay shopping centre to replace its existing high street store.

According to Habitat managing director Cliff Burrows, a paid pitch was held last Friday for the Southampton project, involving three design groups and one architect. The winner has yet to be named, but Burrows says some of those invited to pitch had previously worked for the retailer.
