Trying to find the right words for the occasion

Interactive brand jargon reached new heights this week when Design Week received an invitation to a party in London’s Soho House. The offender in question, London design group 4i, broke new ground in stringing together no less than five baffling descriptors to explain the slant of the next week’s special occasion.

Its ‘Live Tactile Digital Interactive Merger Party’ promises to be an amusing, if confusing, affair – especially if you read the small print.

Proceedings ‘might slide into a night of touchy, feely, interactive, lubricated… you know the kind of thing’, it says dubiously. If you have examples of equally high calibre jargon, or similar party invites, please send them to us.
