The only response when faced with gunboat diplomacy

Last week, in response to a confession from David Hillman, you posed the question, ‘What dream job have you missed out on by a cat’s whisker?’ (Voxpop, DW 24 January)

Here at Oakwood DC, our hit rate is pretty respectable, but one miss that we really regret was, sadly, the Royal Navy rebrand. Our team even had a day on board an operational frigate to get a real feel for the RN. We made it to the last two, but got the ‘Sorry, no… ‘ call.

We didn’t argue – we’d seen what they can do when you get on the wrong side of them.
