Supper club seeks designer

The new management team of private members club Jaks is on the hunt for young designers to revamp its interiors and identity.

The late-night supper club is housed in a 185m2 basement off London’s Sloane Square and includes a bar and restaurant area.

Jaks’ new management will carry out a proposals pitch, and is offering life membership and food and wine at the club worth 250 to the winning designers.

The live jazz venue needs a “comfortable, relaxing, funky” image rather than “bright, brittle and brash” says George Theo, one of the new management team.
