1 Threefold Architects, in collaboration with Jason Bruges Studio, has won a two-stage international design competition to create a mobile public arts space for Yorkshire-based arts consultancy Beam. The Wedge concept, pictured, is an unfolding wedge-shaped structure offering interior and exterior spaces.

2 The latest RAC report on motoring has been designed by brand communications consultancy Curious. The report is the first of three to be published in 2008.

4 Nevis Design Consultants has created a new identity and packaging for Pekoe Tea. Pekoe Tea’s new range will focus on premium outlets such as hotels, delicatessens, cafés and independent retailers.

5 Protective carry case manufacturer Tech21 has teamed up with materials design studio D30 to produce the iBand, pictured. The slimline iBand claims to give the 3G iPhone 100 per cent more protection than conventional cases. It will launch on 1 August exclusively at www.apple.com.
