Arcadia looks to Sears stores

Fashion retail group Arcadia is in discussions with Sears about acquiring its womenswear division. The takeover would involve the Wallis, Warehouse, Miss Selfridge, Richards and Outfit chains.

An Arcadia spokeswoman says further announcements about the acquisition will be made in due course, though she cannot confirm whether the five chains would be rebranded under possible new ownership.
