Newspaper ends up the butt of Atlantic’s joke

If a couple of naked bum cheeks offend you do not read on, or even let your eyes wander in the direction of the photograph below.

The picture, in an ad for Devon design group Atlantic Creative Communications, certainly offended censors in the West Country, who banned the ad from re-appearing in the Westcountry Business Review after the first insertion.

Atlantic maintains that ‘a representative for the publication claimed it was too risqué and may offend their readers’.

The consultancy’s account director Paul Ridgers admits to ‘absolute amazement’ about the paper’s decision, while creative director Geoff Belben accuses some local media of being ‘so out of touch’.
