New coat of Oliveblack paint for Bow Arts Trust

London arts organisation Bow Arts Trust has undergone a £75 000 interior redesign by Oliveblack, the consultancy set up last year by former Brinkworth Design director Silka Gebhardt.

The group was initially appointed last year, following a five-way pitch to what was then a smaller scale project to redesign the façade and entrance area of the trust building and its Nunnery Gallery public exhibition space.

However, the project was subsequently expanded to encompass the overhaul of the surrounding external environment.

‘Together with [client] Leaside Regeneration, we helped apply for extra funding from the London Borough of Tower Hamlets and from The Regional European Development Fund,’ says Gebhardt.

The arts centre, at 181-183 Bow Road, re-opens this week.
