Get the dietary message right – but don’t shout it

With regard to designers helping get the obesity message over to kids (Vox Pop, DW 17 March), there seems to have been a quantum shift in the empowerment of children from the outmoded view of ‘being seen and not heard’.

With regard to designers helping get the obesity message over to kids (Vox Pop, DW 17 March), there seems to have been a quantum shift in the empowerment of children from the outmoded view of ‘being seen and not heard’.

Don’t just shout ‘eat more greens’ – kids must believe they’re arriving at their own conclusion. Set the agenda at the right level, have joined up thinking across all communications and make it relevant.
