Hemingway Design has created the new wing of The Institute of Directors’ Pall Mall headquarters, called IoD at 123, which will be unveiled tomorrow.
The extended space will house conference rooms, “state-of-the-art” business facilities and a catering outlet offering sushi, bagels and cocktails.
Wayne Hemingway says, the project is “not just an interiors makeover” but a more holistic approach. “We have tried to affect the entire philosophy of the new space,” he says. This includes looking at the dress code of 123, creating more laptop points around the building, “as that’s what people want” and retaining the front-of-house staff.
