MetaDesign to join Lost Boys

German design group Meta-Design has merged into European e-business group Lost Boys. Under the confidential terms of the deal, MetaDesign “will become a Lost Boys company”, says a MetaDesign spokeswoman.

The so called “merger” does not yet include the San Francisco office of MetaDesign however, which is only 30 per cent owned by the German holding group. An offer is thought to be on the table, but the “other 70 per cent” of the US office is still “in negotiations with Lost Boys”, the spokeswoman adds.

MetaDesign will keep its name as a condition of the merger and MetaDesign chief executive officer Hans Krueger will sit on the Lost Boys executive board.
