A leading US children’s publisher, Golden Books Family Entertainment, has unveiled a new marque with a character designed by Siegel & Gale in New York.

Goldie, an icon formed from a lower case G, will appear as a unifying signature on many ranges of the Golden Books products, says a client spokeswoman.

“Goldie reinforces Golden Books’ long-standing franchise in the marketplace by recognising that the heart of learning often starts with a book,” says Golden Books Family Entertainment chairman Richard Snyder.

Siegel & Gale has created a World Wide Web site for Kodak Professional to help “bring a new level of image intelligence” to Kodak’s customers. The site can be found at http://www.kodak. com/go/professional.
