A cheese a month helps you work, rest and play.

This is according to graphic designers Fred Leicester from Swifty, David Law from Thomas Manss & Company and Jimmy Adams from C&FD, originators of “cheesy listening” club Cheese, which has just moved to a new venue called Mars.

Cheese has had a regular clientele over the past three years, ranging from 75 year-olds to three-year-olds. Sir Terence Conran is rumoured to be an attendee, as are some well-known comedians.

Englebert Humperdinck, Dean Martin and Nancy Sinatra are major favourites on the turntable.

Cheese’s new theme is Martian, though the flier – designed by DJ Leicester – seems more Magic Roundabout than planetary.
