I read with interest your article on the redesign of the Dualit logo (DW 28 July).
Product Innovation Partners has been working with Dualit since 1987 and the consultancy is responsible for the industrial design of the company’s toaster range (exclusive of the Lite Range) the blender range, the coffee maker range, (exclusive of the 889 Model) and the kettle range.
The logo redesign is an improvement on the original: there is continuity with the old identity, but, at the same time, it is softer and simpler.
In strategic terms, the updated identity will come in useful for Dualit as the company extends its product range and moves into new market segments. Well done Milton Bayer.
