Dyson Appliances has launched its latest upright model, the DC04.

An evolution of the original DC01 model, the DC04 has been developed by the in-house research and development team at Dyson’s Malmesbury headquarters in Wiltshire.

Improved air-flow, achieved by moulded airways, and new brushes are among the improvements made.

But the changes most likely to appeal to style-conscious consumers are new colour schemes: the DC04 is available in purple and lime as well as the traditional Dyson grey and yellow livery.
