Clothes pegs are among the unsung heroes of the object world. Smallfry Industrial Design is set to change that, creating a clothes-peg that is ‘cleaner, safer and better to use’, according to a consultancy spokesperson. The new Mono-bug peg is a single-piece of moulded plastic with a spring. This means that the pegs are strong, weatherproof and not prone to falling apart. Maybe hanging out the washing isn’t so bad after all.
