WEST London design consultancy Skidmore Turnbull has created a new identity for the Parker Romantic Novel of the Year. The award, sponsored by Parker pens and run by the Romantic
Novelists’ Association, is for excellence in romantic fiction. The identity is for use on stationery, exhibition materials and signs.
“Our brief was to create an identity which put romantic fiction in a modern context while simultaneously highlighting the Parker sponsorship,” says
Skidmore Turnbull creative director, Treve Ripley. “The handwritten approach and pen nib incorporates Parker while the bold red ink gives the identity a contemporary feel.”
The winner of the Parker Romantic Novel of the Year will be announced on 21 April.
