Enterprise IG extends its Scandinavian reach

Enterprise IG is expanding its European presence, as revealed by Design Week last week, with the launch of a start-up in Copenhagen. It is the consultancy’s first operation in Denmark and joins its Scandinavian offices in Oslo and Stockholm.

Enterprise has established the office by recruiting a team of eight branding and identity specialists. These include former Wolff Olins and Siegel & Gale brand consultant Malene Sihm and Liselotte Mosbaek, who previously worked at PA Consulting. They have been appointed joint managing directors. The office will work initially with clients including Microsoft and Carlson Wagonlit Travel.

Sihm and Mosbaek both place a strong emphasis on engaging internal audiences, says Enterprise IG London managing director Patrick Smith. Enterprise IG is also expanding in the Far East with the launch of a start-up in Tokyo in collaboration with fellow WPP Group-owned advertising agency Ogilvy & Mather.

WPP chief executive, identity and design Europe Sam Sampson says the Japan office is likely to open in mid-February. Called Enterprise IG, it will be the consultancy’s 18th global location.

Enterprise IG now has eight offices in the region and claims to be the largest design consultancy in Asia with over 100 employees.

The two start-ups form part of Enterprise IG’s expansion drive to create a stronger global network of operations. It employs over 600 people worldwide with clients including Merrill Lynch, Coca-Cola and Ford.
