Redhouse Lane tackles criminal agency literature

The National Criminal Intelligence Service, a Government agency established to tackle serious and organised crime, released its flagship publication on Monday with design by Redhouse Lane.

The UK Threat Assessment report includes an annual overview of criminal activity in the UK. It features forecasts of national and international trends, as well as setting priorities for enforcement and prevention, and is distributed to other crime-fighting organisations, the media and Government bodies.

The report is the second of four documents that Redhouse Lane is producing for NCIS this year, says account director Fiona Corey. Two versions have been produced, one for the public domain and one for confidential use.

Redhouse Lane designer Jeanett Knipschildt was responsible for the publication’s styling.

The consultancy was appointed in February after a six-way pitch.
