I can’t say that I knew Richard Murray very well, but all I do know is that every time I met him he made me laugh.
He was a truly funny man who could laugh at himself, and also be merciless in extracting the Michael out of you. In an industry that can sometimes take itself too seriously, we will all therefore be poorer for his passing.
