Design writer Phil Patton has reported on Yves Behar’s car concept, a highlight of last month’s Greener Gadget conference in New York. The car is aimed at citizens of the developing world and is inspired by what Behar learned as designer on the One Laptop per child project.
Ads painted by hand on to the brickwork of buildings were once a common sight in the UK, but many have now faded to eerie ’ghostsigns’. The History of Advertising Trust set out to photograph, research and archive some of the remaining ones. See the results here.
