Big catch for Pelican with C Eye identity

International business management consultancy Pelican is set to launch a new identity this week, designed by London branding consultancy C Eye.

C Eye was briefed to look at repositioning the group as part of a multi-million pound investment and growth plan. The new identity comes at a time when Pelican is understood to be looking at acquisition in the UK and developing its on-line business.

As well as rationalising the visual identity and developing colour guidelines, the brand consultancy was asked to create all new signage and refresh print, digital media and advertising for the Pelican brand.

C Eye designer Emma Atkinson, who designed the new marque, says: “We wanted to create a simple, witty solution that reflects the nature of the company – progressive, bold, innovative and experienced.”

As part of this overall review and C Eye’s strategic repositioning of the group, future sub- brands will be created by the branding group in a bid to introduce “a new personality to drive the marketing for the group as a whole”, she adds.
