Comic Relief charity wants to get graphic

Comic Relief is seeking a graphic designer wishing to perform a seven-month secondment at the charity, in the months leading up to its flagship fundraising event Red Nose Day.

The organisation already works with several design groups, including Enterprise IG, Interbrand Newell and Sorrell, Glazer, Radley Yeldar, The Team and Wickens Tutt Southgate, but is looking to appoint an in-house designer specifically for the event on 16 March.

Comic Relief production manager Bill Gosbee says: “The ideal scenario is for someone to give us a member of their staff and to cover their cost.” However, he is also interested in speaking to consultancies about establishing an alternative arrangement whereby the charity can fund some of the cost of the post.

“The scope of work is fairly wide, so it’s a fantastic opportunity for a designer to work on a whole range of things,” adds Gosbee.
