Incepta secures JKD Communications

Citigate Lloyd Northover parent Incepta Group has acquired the e-business and Web design consultancy JKD Communications. JKD will be merged into Incepta’s digital media arm Citigate.com.

The Citigate.com expansion will see Incepta pay up to £10m for 48-strong JKD: £1.9m in cash, the rest in shares. Citigate.com aims to develop itself as a strategic digital media consultancy and technical and creative design shop.

“JKD is a significant addition to the resources and expertise within Citigate.com, and underlines our determination to use the full potential of the new technologies across the whole range of services we provide for our clients,” says Incepta chief executive David Wright, referring to design and branding, advertising, PR and marketing services.

“Citigate.com is now well placed to offer clients throughout the group a fully integrated service for all on-line and off-line communications,” adds Wright.
