Cauldron Foods considers a revamp of Reach’s designs

Vegetarian and organic convenience food manufacturer Cauldron Foods is looking to revamp its brand identity and packaging, three years after Bristol-based consultancy Reach created its existing image.

The company is understood to be in the preliminary stages of a pitch process.

A spokeswoman confirms that Cauldron is ‘looking at ideas’, but declines to reveal further details. The move to revamp Cauldron follows its acquisition last year by Premier Foods for £27m.

Cauldron sells a wide portfolio of products, such as tofu, burgers, falafel, pâtés and sausages.

In 2003, Reach redesigned its brand identity and packaging, creating a new marque and refreshing copy and photography, undertaking the first major update of the brand in its 30-year history.

Reach was appointed following a three-way credentials pitch in August 2002 (DW 8 May 2003).
