RA aims to open City of London store

The Royal Academy of Arts is planning to open its first stand-alone retail store and is thought to have earmarked a site in the City of London. The move would provide a branded environment through which the RA can generate revenue. A consultancy is yet to be appointed, according to a spokeswoman, who says discussions are taking place.
