Sixixis roll out environmentally friendly summer house

A 4m mobile summer house, made from locally-sourced Cornish hardwood, is being rolled out for the new season by Sixixis, a Cornish design group set up just before the Milan Furniture Fair by three Design for Sustainability graduates from Falmouth College of Arts. The design group uses environmentally-friendly steam-bending techniques to shape its wooden product designs, which include lampshades, beds and chairs made out of one plank of wood.
