If your designs don’t work on paper they won’t work on a Mac

In answer to Gillian Gutman (Letters, DW 12 November), although I would agree that Mac experience is vital, so is the ability to be creative without total machine-dependence. Although we use the latest software packages, we still encourage our designers to brainstorm ideas as a team, as well as use that archaic design tool – paper – to try out their ideas.
