Cimex beats bullies with new site

Cimex has created a microsite to support a joint initiative between the Government and BBC Radio 1 to crack down on bullying.

The site will form the ‘cornerstone’ of a new anti-bullying campaign, Beat Bullying, that aims to throw the spotlight on the problem. Cimex was appointed by the Department for Education and Skills last month to design the microsite, www.need2know.co.uk/ beatbullying.

The domain will include supportive and sympathetic content to encourage a dialogue with users and also features extensive ‘relevant’ imagery. It launches later this month.

‘The site will be promoted extensively as part of the campaign, the on-line channel is one of the best ways to reach the target audience,’ says Dan Williamson, head of editorial service at Cimex.

The site is an extension of the youth site, www.need2know.com, created by Cimex last year.
