Design education should tackle recruitment issue
The real problem [with graduate recruitment] lies with design education. Universities are funded by ‘manufacturing’ graduates. Sadly, it’s irrelevant whether the graduates end up with a job in design.
More positively – the skills learned in a design course are extremely transferable – problem solvers are valuable.
I would suggest that Robin Arnold thinks creatively and widens his horizons.
