UK designer Ben Rousseau

UK designer Ben Rousseau is to design a suite at Sweden’s Ice Hotel in Jukkasjärvi, 200km north of the Arctic Circle. Each year, as part of an art and design competition, ten suites are made available for international artists to design. Rousseau will be constructing his suite from snow and ice at temperatures below freezing. The build starts on 20 November – each artist will be allotted 16 days to complete their room designs. Rousseau and artists from 14 other countries will be showcasing their work throughout the season.
