Lippa Pearce logo is a dead Certa

A new company enters the market providing certification for contaminated land for insurance purposes. Corporate identity and literature for Certa was designed by Lippa Pearce.

The consultancy, which also helped on the naming, won the job in a proposals pitch against Sampson Tyrrell Enterprise, Wickens Tutt Southgate and Torch Design.

Certa has been set up by risk management company Thomas Miller & Co. “We wanted to shake up the market a bit,” says Lippa Pearce design director Domenic Lippa.

A gold C was created with a hallmark, to stand for quality, added value and security. The consultancy also designed a brochure, technical material and a launch video.

“Most of the competitors market solutions by promoting problems,” says Lippa of the literature, “Certa emphasises solutions.”
