In his free time Ian Caulder sculptures life figures mainly from clay and plaster. ‘I try to do one evening a week and sometimes on Sundays. I do it for relaxation, it’s good therapy for unwinding. It’s good to do something quite creative without the pressures of doing design work,’ Caulder says.
