The youth of today aren’t what they were

Instead of design graduates complaining about the lack of job opportunities, they may want to follow the lead of one 14-year-old who recently wrote to Design Week.

In a delightful letter to the magazine, the young lady explains she is ‘considering my career options’. What were the latest bunch of graduates doing at the tender age of 14? Probably skateboarding or playing on computer games.

The letter goes on: ‘I am extremely interested in a career in interior design and would be grateful if you could provide information about this subject and any events coming up.’

With such initiative the teenager is likely to find a job sooner rather than later. Sounds like an enterprising way to supplement your pocket money.
