Branson blows £8m after dizzy dining experience

According to Press Association reports this week, Sir Richard Branson has paid the highest sum ever for an apartment in Sydney.

His new £8m pied-à-terre is built on Australia’s first convict settlement, which boasts spectacular harbour views over the city. The pad has been designed with a James Bondesque 12-seat revolving dining room, though it would seem more interest is being paid to the fact that the owner has a choice of five lavatories.
