Expansion for Apollo cinemas

Apollo Cinemas, the UK’s largest independent cinema operator, this week announced plans to double its estate to more than 20 venues over the next three years, as part of a £50m expansion programme.

The announcement follows the unveiling last week of Apollo’s Grade ll-listed flagship cinema on London’s Lower Regent Street. Interiors have been refurbished to the tune of £3m by Williams Ellis Architects.
